The Victor Harbor 10K is run on a quick, flat course along the Encounter Bay Bikeway, suitable for both runners and walkers.
Come for the run and stay a little longer to enjoy the beaches and stunning coastlines of the southern Fleurieu Peninsula and sample Victor Harbor’s friendly hospitality.

Course Details
All courses are currently provisional, subject to final council approvals.
The Victor Harbor 10K follows a 1 lap course along the Encounter Bay bikeway. The course is on fully sealed paths and roads and is reasonably flat, with around 25m of elevation change over 10 KM.
Starting at the Soldiers’ Memorial Reserve on the Esplanade, the Victor Harbor 10K course heads south west for 3.75 KM before runners turn back to follow the same route back to the start-finish area. Runners then head north east for 1.25 KM to the Victor Harbor sailing club before returning to finish on Soldiers Memorial Reserve.

Only compostable cups made from plant-based materials will be used during the Victor Harbor Half Marathon to minimize our impact on the environment. Please try to hit the bins provided at the water stations and be aware that littering on the course will result in disqualification. Runners may also carry their own drink bottle or cup to refill at water stations.

Cut Off Time
The Victor Harbor 10K course will be progressively closed at a pace of 12 minutes per kilometre (equivalent to a finish time of 2 hours) so is suitable for both runners and walkers.
A tail walker will follow the last participant around the course for safety reasons and to relieve marshals from their positions.
Marshals
Please be courteous to our marshals and other volunteers. Remember that they are giving up their Sunday morning to make sure that you will enjoy your run.

Presentations
Trophies will be awarded to the first 3 male and first 3 female place-getters in the Victor Harbor 10K. Presentations will be made at the finish line shortly after the top 3 runners have finished.
